Itinerary

Day 1
 

7:00  - Pick up from hotel in Bangkok.
 

8:30  - Mae Klong railway market. See how the local vendors evacuating their goods when the train comes.
 

9:15  - Damnoen Saduak floating market. Traditional Thai rowing boat along the canal.
 

11:45 - Lunch at local Thai restaurant.
 

13:00 - Feed wild monkeys (weather permitting).

​

13:30 - Krasae Cave use to be the Prisoners Of War camp during WW2.

​

13:35 - Take train from Krasae Cave railway station via a wooden viaduct passing over the limited space built along the mountain cliff to Tha Ki Len station (app 30 min).

 

14:45 - Arrive at Safari Park Open Zoo : take a bus to drive through and watch up close to variety of wild animals such as tigers, lions, bears, zebras, ostriches, flamingos etc. Also hand feed giraffes.
 

16:00 - Check into Away Kanchanaburi Dheva Mantra Resort & Spa.

18:30 - Dinner at local floating restaurant.
 

Day 2
 

7:00  - Breakfast at Away Kanchanaburi Dheva Mantra Resort & Spa.

7:30  - Leave Away Kanchanaburi Dheva Mantra Resort & Spa.
 

8:30  - Arrive at Erawan National Park : trekking into 7 tiered waterfalls and tickle with fish nibbling.
 

12:00 - Lunch at local Thai restaurant.
 

13:30 - Arrive at Hellfire Pass memorial museum and walk through Death Railway cutting mountain.
 

15:00 - Entrance to Sai Yok National Park : barge passes 2 waterfalls and enjoy swimming in the river.
 

17:00 - Take long tailed boat from Resotel pier to check in at The Float House River Kwai.

18:30 - Dinner at The Float House River Kwai.
 

Day 3
 

7:00  - Breakfast at The Float House River Kwai.

8:30  - Leave The Float House River Kwai.

​

9:00  - Rock Valley private hot springs.
 

11:30 - Sai Yok Noi waterfall part of Death Railway.
 

12:15 - Lunch at local Thai restaurant.
 

13:00 - Arrive at Elephant Haven. Seeing elephants play in the mud pool then take the elephants to the river for a bath. Wrap up the day with feeding the elephants fruits (app 1.5 hr).

 

15:30 - Bridge over the River Kwai.
 

16:00 - Leave Kanchanaburi for Bangkok.
 

19:00 - Arrive at hotel in Bangkok.
 

Things to bring : Please make sure to bring sneakers for trekking in the Erawan National Park, a change of clothes, swimsuit, towels, insect repellent. You will get wet on swimming in the Erawan waterfall, giving the elephants a bath in the river, swimming in the river and playing under Sai Yok Yai waterfall in Sai Yok National Park.
